Mrs. Ruby Foster, age 59, a native of the Cates community, died Monday morning, Nov. 27, at her home in Tippecanoe, Ind., according to word received by local relatives. She had been in ill health for the past four years. Mrs. Foster was the daughter of John and Sarah Foster of Cates. She was married to Henry Foster, who survives. She was a sister of the late Mrs. Rose Wallace of Covington. Surviving, in addition, to the husband are: two daughters; one son; and one sister, Mrs. Alice Swaney of South Bend. Mrs. Glay Abernathy and Mrs. Freeda Switzer of Covington and Mrs. Thelma Nixon of Kingman are nieces. She was preceded in death by one son who was killed in World War 2. Funeral services were held this afternoon, Nov. 29, in Tippecanoe with burial in a cemetery in South Bend. Mr. and Mrs. Glay Abernathy drove to Tippecanoe Tuesday night to attend the services. Mrs. Switzer and Mrs. Nixon also attended the rites.  --typed by Walt W
